Double-hand Poker is a modern game with old origins. Based on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the west in a great game for early level players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player against the croupier, not like nearly all other poker games that gamblers wager against other players. By playing against the dealer, starting players don’t have to worry about any other, more advanced players taking their moolla.
An additional Pai Gow advantage is the generally leisurely game pace, novices are able to take their time and scheme without having to make quick decisions.
It’s also simpler to gamble on for an extended time with only a small bit of cash seeing as, to not win, each of your hands must be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card common deck and a single joker. The player is assigned 7 cards face up and the casino is given seven cards faces hidden.
A five card hand and one two card hand have to be put together from the seven cards, the 5 card hand must be stronger than the 2 card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the dealer’s.
