Internet poker has become world acclaimed as of late, with televised championships and celebrity poker game events. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its TV scores. Over the years numerous variations on the first poker game have been developed, including some games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling blackjack than old guard poker, in that the players bet against the bank rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is little concealment or different kinds of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up prior to the croupier broadcasting "No more bets." At that point, both you and the casino and of course all of the different players acquire five cards. Once you have seen your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you must in turn make a call bet or give up. The call wager’s amount is equal to your original ante, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your wager goes instantly to the house. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the dealer does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, including an amount equal to the ante. If the house has a hand with ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The house pays money even with your wager and controlled odds on your call bet. These expectations are:

• Even for a pair or high card
• two to one for 2 pairs
• three to one for 3 of a kind
• 4-1 for a straight
• five to one for a flush
• seven to one for a full house
• twenty to one for a four of a kind
• fifty to one for a straight flush
• 100-1 for a royal flush
