Poker Aces refers to two aces dealt before theflop. It’s the best attainable before theflop hand intexas hold’em Poker. But regardless a large number of bettors end up on the wrong end when given these cards.
When you are given a set of Aces, you just don’t fold pre-flop. You’re positioned with the greatest possible hand at this part of the round. So how do you gamble with Poker Aces ? Do you basically go all-in? I’d say definitely no to that.
Always remember, you are attempting to earn as much money out of this strong position. You will want to maximise the opportunity. Going all-in will simply scare most competitors into folding and not laying a bet.
If you are in the early seat (1st or second to actually bet), you’ll lay a single wager. Anyone with decent cards will call, hopefully someone may raise. If there has been a raise do not jump to re-raise or call, wait for a short while – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.
After the flop your course of action will be to get rid of anybody that might be able to get a straight or a flush. So I would begin to raise aggressively, if you are lucky you will fool 1 player into thinking that you’re faking it.
If you are in the middle or later seat (one of the last to cast your bet) you’ll observe as everybody calls and then raise. Even with you sitting with a pair of aces, if you can try to avoid a show-down. Defend your hand by forcing others to drop out following the flop. If you don’t force out your adversaries you chance squandering your hand.
